The world is aware of the grave tragedy, which had befallen South East Asia and Southern India. In the aftermath of unprecedented underwater earthquake that gave rise to killer Tsunami waves, which destroyed, coast lines of Tamil Nadu, AndraPradesh and Kerela. These southern states were affected critically, killing more than 10,000 lives, seriously injuring thousands and making thousands homeless in Tamil Nadu itself. International aid efforts have begun but it is a Herculean task for them as clean water, food, sanitation and shelter are affected critically.
Royal Educational Society's relief & rehabilitation team lead by Mrs. Rehana Undre, VICE-PRESIDENT OF Royal Educational Society has distributed hampers of Rs. 14,00,000/- containing medicines, clothes, blanket, mattress, bed sheet and strawmatts, in worst affected areas of Karunagapalli and Vuypeen near Cochin.
