Our History

The society started its school from Borli Panchatan a remote village 200 kms away from Mumbai. The school was founded in the year 1982 with just 26 students and 2 teachers who taught them to write on slates. The seed of Education, with Discipline sowed by The Royal Educational Society in the 80's at Borli Panchatan, a remote village in the District of Raigad has blossomed into a full-grown tree bearing fruits and providing shade for all the surrounding populace. The strength of the school has risen to over 3000 with main school at Borli Panchatan & ten primary schools in different villages over an area of 100 kms. Most people belong to low economic strata, with low literacy rate and very limited health facilities. With our proactive approach towards educational uplift we have adopted on one strategy towards fulfilling the aim to make them better human beings by quality education, boarding, lodging, counseling, medical and emotional support. We witnessed the suffering of human beings especially the downtrodden as such close range that touched the core of our heart that prodded us to dedicate to the cause of their upliftment. We believe that education is of paramount importance in a nation torn with strife. The sheer passion for Education, Discipline, and Devotion helped us achieve the pinnacle of success in the Upliftment of the poor and the underprivileged residents of this part of Kokan.

The institution is not enlisted for Grant-in-Aid by the State of Maharashtra, because of the education policy of the government of India, not to encourage the growth of English Medium Schools. Needless to mention, all are aware that English is a universal language. The society is solely dependant on charitable amounts by way of donations and advertisements for the school magazine. Our Society is registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976.
